A song I wrote For the project, Put on Youtube to see for any attention.

It is about the story of Hua Mulan, I wrote the poem, song and did most of the Video.

The Magnolia flower

Look at me,

I’m lying on my tree,

Swaying in the Breeze,

Who knew life could be so pleasant

But I see,

Chaotic sand streams in the north,

Horns of war at my back door,

Now I need to fight for my country,

I blossom in the desert, behind the yellow river

I could hear the huns iron heels, the arrows in the sky

I try to fight, I cannot flight, who is here to aid

I search my way out here in the pitch dark.

I take my stand on the battlefield, between the loyal hearts

I pray upon the starless nights, to find out my own answer,

Who am I? Why I’m here? Can I play my part.

Then I return back to my tree, swaying in the summer breeze.
